MG (Morris Garages) has achieved a remarkable feat by installing 500 chargers within 500 days as part of its Charge initiative in India. Since its inception in 2022, this program has been dedicated to setting up 1,000 charging points in 1,000 days across apartments, condominiums, and societies, ensuring convenient access for residents and visitors alike.

In collaboration with partners like Exicom Telesystems, ElectreeFi, EchargerBays, Ionage, Statiq, and Highway Delite, MG Motor India strategically rolled out 7.4kW chargers, averaging an impressive installation rate of one per day across approximately 50 major cities.
The company's efforts have been pivotal in establishing a sturdy EV charging infrastructure, boasting over 15,000 charging touchpoints nationwide, encompassing both public and home chargers. Furthermore, MG Motor India is actively engaged with ecosystem partners such as Glida, TPCL, BPCL, Jio-bp, Statiq, Zeon, and ChargeZone for the development of EV charging infrastructure. Additionally, partnerships with Attero and Lohum for battery recycling, reuse, and life extension further highlight the company's commitment to sustainability.
